Capitol sources say that State Rep. Mark Butler of Carrollton will enter the race to become Georgia’s State Labor Commissioner. Butler, from Carrollton will join fellow Republican Melvin Everson in the race to succeed Commissioner Michael Thurmond who is giving up the office to run for U.S. Senate.
