Carter and Baker Discuss Working Together

C-Span Presents Pres. Carter and Sen. Howard Baker Watch Program on Bi-Partisanship On-Line Atlanta, GA. President Jimmy Carter and Senator Howard Baker discuss Democrats and Republics working together in a new program available on line at C-Span. The discussion, which took place at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library last month, deals with the way Carter, a Democrat, was able to work with Baker, a Republican. The two also discuss the current lack of bi-partisanship in Congress. Carter Library Director Jay Hakes moderated the discussion.
