Joe Fleming has submitted his resignation as Senior Vice President of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Fleming submitted his resignation today and said he is doing so with a “sad and heavy heart.” He said, “I have anguished over this decision all weekend, but believe the time has come for a change.” He said, “Despite one of the most successful legislative session’s in the past six year, I believe moving on is in the best interest of the organization.” Fleming said, “When I know of my future plans, I will pass them along. He has recommended Lauren Wilkes to be promoted to fill this vacancy.”
