Hughie Cleland, age 95, of Lithonia died on May 12. He is survived by his son, former U.S. Senator Max Cleland. Mr. Cleland had been ill for some time. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Cleland. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 11 o’clock in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia. Burial will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Cangon. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to service time at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
