Candidates Reveal Endorsements for Primary

Gingrich is for Deal, Palin is for Karen Handel. Bill Clinton is for Thurbert Baker. Finally the primary elections, only a week away, are getting interesting. Former Gov. of Alaska Sara Palin has issed a statement endorsing Karen Handel, for Georgia Secretary of State, for governor on the Republican ticket. She called Handel “a great commonsense conservative woman.” She was also called a “reformer” by the former GOP Vice Presidential nominee. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich announced is endorsement of Nathan Deal’s candidacy for governor of Georgia. He said, “Nathan Deal has dedicated his life to serving the people of the United States and Georgia, the U.S. Army to his record as one of the ten most conservative members of Congress.” Former President Bill Clinton has given his endorsement to Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker to be the Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia. Baker is hoping to get former governor Roy Barnes into a run-off, although Barnes’ poll numbers continue to be above fifty percent.
