Georgia Beat has learned from the Max Cleland organization that Harold Joiner has died. Joiner, former farm editor of the AJC, died at the emergency room of a Fayetteville Hospital. After his retirement from the newspaper, Joiner became involved in politics in the county and was involved in the re-elections of Secretary of State Max Cleland. Plans for funeral are unknown at this time.
