We are glad to report news relayed to us by his good friend, Charlie Graves, that former State Senator Richard Marable of Rome, is recovering from open heart surgery performed today. Graves said that six procedures were required to repair a problem on the back side of the former legislators’s heart. Marable’s many friends in state government wish him a speedy recovery.
