We have just learned of the recent death of Al Hatcher of Dublin. Hatcher was the key assistant to then Lt. Gov. Peter Zac Geer in the 60s and was once a candidate for statewide office, Comptroller General. He was a successful businessman and still active in politics in the Dublin Area. His many friends at the State Capitol and around Georgia extend deepest sympathy to the family of Al Hatcher. Thanks to Mary Beazley for letting us know about Al’s passing.
