Two of the five U.S. Congressman for whom Peggy Greenway worked during her lifetime honored her memory on Thursday during services in Albany. Congressman Austin Scott and Congressman Sanford Bishop pictured with Peggy’s daughters, Julee Bailey and Tammy Greenway, read special tributes during funeral services at Byne Memorial Baptist Church in Albany. Longtime friend, Joe Sports, gave the Eulogy at the funeral. At least a dozen members of Congressman Scott’s staff attended the service for their fellow staffer and friend. Farm Services Director Hobby Stribling was present and read a letter from Governor Nathan Deal. Jody Redding of Senator Johnny Isakson’s staff and Debbie Cannon, from the staff of Senator Sazby Chambliss were among the 300 attending the service.
