The 12th Annual James A. Kaufmann Memoral Golf Tournament benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter will be held on Monday, September 19th at the Cherokee Town & Country Club. The tournament is held in tribute to the late Dr. James Kaufmann, prominent Atlanta physician who started the Medical Care center at the State Capitol and was the on-call Doctor of the Day there for many years. Dr. Kaufmann’s son, Dr. Robert Kaufmann initiated the tournament which has the endorsement of the senior Dr. Kaufmann’s widow, Alice Kaufmann. PeopleNet was the Hole-in-One sponsor in 2010.
