Augusta real estate attorey, Wright McLeod, has announced he wants to challenge U.S. Congressman John Barrow in the 12 District Congressional Race. McLeod is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and flew F-14 Tomcats for 20 years, including 38 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm. He also has a UGA law degree and a masters in national securities studies from Georgetown University. McLeod also unveiled an endorsement from Gloria Norwood, wife of the late U.S. Rep. Charlie Norwood of Augusta.
