Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp has certified the results for the November 8, 2011 special elections for several legislative races. In House District 10, Terry Rogers was declared the winner.
There are run-off elections required in three other districts to be held on December 6th.
In District 25 (Hall County) Emory West Dunahoo, Jr. and Bobby Banks, both Republicans, will compete. In State Senate District 28 (Coweta and Heard Counties with portions of Carroll and Troup Counties) Duke Blackburn and Mike Crane, both Republicans, will be in run-off election.
In State Senate District 50, (Banks, Franklin, habersham, hart, Raburn, Stephens and Towns Counties and a portion of White County) Rick Austin and John K. Wilkinson are the competing candidates. Both are Republicans.
