Gov. Nathan Deal has nominated Jud Turner to serve as the next director of the Environmental Protection Division. He will succeed Allen Barnes, who will continue his important role as a member of Georgia’s tri-state water negotiations team. “Jud Trner brings a wealth of experience, expertise and leadership to Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division”, said Gov. Deal. Turner received a law degree from the University of Virginia Scool of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. The Albany natie and his wife, Courtney, live in Griffin with their two children.
