Here is a list of the various political events and fund raisers on the schedule for the next few days:

 July 12 --  The House Republican Caucus will hae a fundraising reception, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Atlanta History Center, 130 West Paces Ferry Road.  Sponsorships range from $10,000 to $500.  RSVP to Patti Peach (770) 850 0165.

 July 13 -- A reception for Rep. Virgil Fludd of Georgia House District 66 will be held 4 to 6 p.m. at the Offices of Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough, 201 17th Street, 17th Floor.   Fludd, a Democrat, has no opposition in 2010.

July 15 -- The Georgia Republican Foundation will have a breakfast at The Georgian Club with special guest Speaker David Ralston. $35 for guests, $25 for current Foundation Members. R.S.V.P. Required to Mika Kawana at (404) 257-5559 x 239 or by email at mika@gagop.org.

June 12 - Gary Black, Commissioner of Agriculture candidate will have a North Georgia Grassroots Summit at Cagle's Dairy Farm in Canton, 10 a.m. until noon and at Harmony Grove Farms, Commerce from 3 to 5 p.m.
June 21 -- The Annual Rep. Mickey Channell Fund Raising Golf Tournament will be held at Reynolds Oconee Golf Course at the Ritz Carlton in Greensboro. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Contact Joy Walstrum at (404) 358-5634.

NOTES:- The Roy Barnes campaign has been endorsed by three key Democratic leaders. Former Mayors Shirley Franklin and Andrew Young, and Brooke Jackson-Edmond, daughter of former Mayor Maynard Jackson announced their support of Barnes' candidacy.
