Joe Sports personally signed over two hundred books which will be given to those attending the Winter Weekend in Floriday next week hosted by President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter. The books are gifts of one of Joe's clients, Monsanto Company, which along with Delta AirLines and Coca-Cola Company serves as one of the sponsors of the Winter Weekend.

(Dorothy) Smith, of Atlanta seemed very pleased to receive a copy of "Georgia's Man in the Middle" on the occasion of her 100th Birthday.Mrs. Smith's husband was president of South Georgia College in Douglas in the fifties. Her daughters, Dottie and Diana, arranged the special birthday celebration.

Bonne Davis Cella of Tifton received an early copy of Man in the Middle and shared it with a friend, Jo Wingate. When the friend expressed an interest in purchasing a copy, we were able to make a special delivery during a stop at country food buffet in Tifton.
