Former Senator Max Cleland's Dad Dies Hugh Cleland, left with his son, former U.S. Senator Max Cleland died Wednesday afternoon at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia. Burial will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 2:30.
