Wednesday, September 24 --  The lawn at the historic Mount Vernon overlooking the Potomac will provide the perfect setting for the seventh "Spirit of Mount Vernon" reception, dinner and spectacular fireworks display. The event is sponsored each year by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States.
